An off-site meeting was held in the Narrow Gauge area on the issue of melt water discharge from a snow landfill. The reason was the appeal of the owner of a nearby business facility, who expressed concern about the possible risks of flooding.

Following the meeting, the following instructions were given:

— The Emergency Management Department of Kostanay to establish a hydraulic station with constant monitoring of the meltwater level;

— GKP "Kostanay-Su" to clean up hydraulic structures;

— The Housing and Communal Services Department should ensure the strengthening of the territory and access to power transmission lines.

There are five snow training grounds in the city. Since the beginning of the year, about 216 thousand tons of snow have been removed. This year, work is planned to clean the logs and partially deepen the channel beds to ensure the smooth passage of meltwater.
