Shymkent: The draft Constitution was discussed at the Power and Heat Center-3 team

A meeting was held at the "Kuatzhylurortlyk-3" institution in Shymkent to explain the new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by employees of the institution, management staff, and a well-known expert, Ardak Montayev, Head of the Department of Political Science at the M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University.
During the meeting, the speaker comprehensively analyzed the essence of the changes and additions provided for in the new draft Constitution and explained their strategic role for the development of the country. According to him, constitutional reforms are a legitimate continuation of the historical process and an important step that determines the direction of the state's development.
– We need to consider the Constitution not just as a legal document, but as a system of fundamental values that determine the future direction of the state. The main goal of the proposed changes is to put the person at the heart of state policy, – said Ardak Montayev.
During the meeting, proposals regarding the structure of the Parliament, the historical and cultural basis of the name "Kurultai", as well as mechanisms for strengthening the dialogue between society and the authorities were discussed. In addition, initiatives regarding the updated structure of the institution of the Prime Minister and the activities of the People's Council were discussed, and issues of increasing accountability and balance between the branches of power were raised.
The Speaker noted that the main principle of the new Constitution is to make human rights and freedoms the foundation of all state policies. This direction is based on protecting the dignity of citizens, ensuring their security, and creating conditions for the full realization of their potential.
The meeting was held in an open exchange of views. Employees of the institution asked their questions and received comprehensive answers. As a result of the meeting, all participants expressed support for the new Constitution.
