On the stage of the Koksu District House of Culture, a significant event in the cultural life of the Zhetysu region was held — the ceremonial concert “Let My Nation Rejoice,” dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Mukhan Tolebayev Folk Instruments Orchestra of the Danesh Rakishev Zhetysu Regional Philharmonic.

The evening became a meaningful cultural event celebrating national art and the greatness of kuy and song. The orchestra’s 35-year creative journey represents a major artistic school closely intertwined with the development of Kazakh folk instrumental art.

The host of the evening was Gulziya Baybosynova, Honored Cultural Figure of the Republic of Kazakhstan and a well-known artist. Her insightful commentary and stage mastery enhanced the artistic level of the concert and left a deep impression on the audience.

The orchestra was conducted by international competition laureate, talented conductor Medet Yesbergenov. His professionalism and sensitive artistic direction allowed each piece to be profoundly interpreted and to resonate in the hearts of listeners.

The concert program was rich and diverse. Traditional Kazakh kuys, folk songs, and classical compositions were performed in a renewed interpretation accompanied by the orchestra. The harmonious blend of dombra, kobyz, zhetygen, syrnai, and other national instruments gave the audience a special spiritual delight.

Works glorifying the spirit of statehood became the central idea of the evening, revealing the deep meaning of the title “Let My Nation Rejoice.” Through music, the achievements of an independent country, the unity of the people, and faith in the future were artistically conveyed.
