On February 24 of this year, a meeting was held with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kudaibergen Bazarbayev. Issues of further strengthening cooperation between the East Kazakhstan Region and the Kyrgyz Republic were discussed. Today, our relations demonstrate steady positive dynamics. Following the results of last year, trade turnover increased by 35% and amounted to more than 534 million US dollars. Exports of products from our region also increased significantly. This is the result of consistent joint work and evidence of a high level of mutual trust. We see significant potential for expanding interaction in the fields of industry, the agro-industrial complex, trade, and other areas. An agreement was reached to continue active cooperation in the implementation of promising joint projects. We are confident that further strengthening of the partnership will contribute to economic development and create new opportunities for our regions.
