On February 25, 2026, Ambassador-at-Large – Head of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Almaty Zhanibek Abdrashov participated and delivered a congratulatory speech at a cultural event on the occasion of the «Lantern» Festival, as part of the celebration of the Chinese New Year - the «Chunjie» Spring Festival, organized by the Consulate General of the People’s Republic of China in Almaty. 

In his speech, Zh. Abdrashov highlighted the dynamic development of multifaceted relations between Kazakhstan and China, built on a foundation of unbreakable friendship and extensive cooperation. Concluding his remarks, the Ambassador-at-Large wished the people of China happiness, prosperity, and success.
