This year the holiday is being celebrated for the 10th time and has become a symbol of unity and mutual respect among the people of Kazakhstan.
During the meeting, participants expressed words of gratitude to one another and passed along a snowdrop — one of the symbols of the holiday.
Other symbols of Gratitude Day include kurt and kumys, representing hospitality, kindness, and unity.
The event was enriched by performances of soloists from the District House of Culture and rural cultural centers.
