On February 26, 2026, a meeting was held to discuss the support of investment projects in the tourism sector and address problematic issues faced by investors.

During the meeting, state support mechanisms and project support tools aimed at implementing investment initiatives in the tourism sector and related fields were reviewed.

Talgat Zhanatovich Gazizov, Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “NC Kazakh Tourism,” delivered a report on the support of investment projects. He presented approaches to comprehensive investor support, the formation of investment proposals, and the promotion of projects at both national and international levels.

Leila Bakhyt, Chief Manager of the Investment Projects Department of JSC “NC Kazakh Tourism,” presented the master plan for the development of the Katon-Karagay region. The document предусматриes the phased implementation of infrastructure and tourism projects aimed at forming a competitive tourism cluster.

Nartay Bolatovich Beisekov, Regional Director of JSC “NC Kazakh Invest,” explained the procedure for concluding investment contracts and outlined the state support measures available to investors under the current legislation.

Ainur Daribayeva, Senior Banker at JSC “Development Bank of Kazakhstan,” provided information on concessional financing programs and opportunities for attracting long-term funding for the implementation of large-scale projects.

Kanatbek Bolatovich Mirzabekov, Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of JSC “SPK Ertis,” presented mechanisms for working with investors through the social and entrepreneurial corporation, including co-financing and the provision of land plots.

Aigul Omirzakovna Kassymova, Director of the East Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the Damu Fund, spoke about support instruments for entrepreneurs, including interest rate subsidies and guarantee mechanisms.

Following the meeting, specific proposals were developed to further strengthen interagency cooperation and enhance the support of investment projects. Work in this area will continue on an ongoing basis.
