On March 3, 2026, representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand attended the fifth International Exhibition «AGROPRO EXPO - 2026», which showcased agricultural products, machinery, equipment, agrochemicals, farm automation systems, and other modern agricultural developments from Central Asian countries, Russia, China, Turkey, and Iran.

Representatives of the Kazakhstani feed producer «Гермес 4» (Kostanay)  and the Greenhouse Association of Kazakhstan also participated in the exhibition.

The exhibition included panel sessions and seminars to discuss current issues in the agricultural sector and to share experiences in implementing innovative solutions, including the use of new technologies to improve the efficiency of agricultural production.

On the sidelines of the Exhibition, representatives of the Consulate General held a series of meetings to discuss the development, trends, and opportunities for cooperation in the agricultural sector between Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. They also provided information on government support for attracting investment to Kazakhstan, including through public-private partnership mechanisms.
