The Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, H.E. Mr. Akan Rakhmetullin, visited the headquarters of the Damen Shipyards Group. During the visit, the Ambassador held a meeting with the company’s representatives to discuss the current state of cooperation and prospects for further collaboration between Kazakhstan and the Dutch shipbuilding industry.

During the meeting, the parties highlighted the successful cooperation between Damen and its partners in Kazakhstan over the past three decades, which has contributed to the development of Kazakhstan’s maritime and shipbuilding capabilities. Both sides noted the importance of maintaining this long-standing partnership and exchanged views on opportunities to further strengthen collaboration through new joint initiatives.
