Brasília, March 17, 2026 – Bolat Nussupov, Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Brazil, held a meeting with Ana Paula Repezza, Executive Director of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex-Brasil).

The Ambassador briefed Apex-Brasil leadership on Kazakhstan’s current socio-economic development, political reforms in the country in the context of the newly adopted Constitution, as well as the activities of the Kazakhstan-Brazil Business Council, established in 2021.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current status of trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Kazakhstan and Brazil and expressed interest in expanding it, particularly in the industrial, mining, and agro-industrial sectors. At the same time, emphasis was placed on intensifying Apex-Brasil’s interaction with Kazakhstani counterparts (Kazakh Invest, Kaztrade, etc.) within the framework of upcoming visits and events.

In turn, the interlocutor highly appreciated the prospects for expanding bilateral trade, economic, and investment cooperation and expressed her readiness to provide every possible assistance in this work, including the organization of joint economic events.

For reference: ApexBrasil (the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency) was established in 2003 and works to promote Brazilian products and services abroad and attract foreign investment into strategic sectors. The agency supports companies in entering international markets and organizes trade missions.
