Kazakh Delegation participates in the Global Fraud Summit

16-17 March 2026, Vienna - The delegation of Kazakhstan took part in the first Global Fraud Summit.
The Summit, organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in cooperation with INTERPOL, brought together 1300 participants, including delegates from states, international organizations, more than 400 representatives of technology companies, financial institutions, the private sector, and academia.
The event focused on developing coordinated international approaches to combating fraud as one of the fastest-growing transnational threats, including forms committed in cyberspace.
The delegation of Kazakhstan included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Security Committee.
On the margins of the Summit, the Kazakh delegation held a number of bilateral meetings with representatives of foreign states, international organizations, and leading companies operating in the field of cybersecurity and financial crime prevention. During the meetings, the parties discussed expanding the implementation of modern technological solutions in combating cybercrime, as well as prospects for joint initiatives and projects.
During the Summit, the organizers presented a Call to Action on Сombating Аraud and a Global Public-Private Partnership Framework against Fraud, open for accession by states, international organizations, and the private sector.
