On April 30, 2026, the "Örken" Scientific and Methodological Center for Informatization and Development of Education of the Education Department of the East Kazakhstan Region held an interregional scientific and practical conference titled "Alikhan Bokeikhan: The Ideas of Alash and Independent Kazakhstan," dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of the public and statesman, leader of the "Alash" movement, Alikhan Bokeikhan.

The event was attended by faculty members from domestic higher educational institutions, methodologists from regional and city education departments, school principals, deputy principals, and teachers of history, Kazakh language and literature, Russian and English languages.

During the plenary session of the conference, reports were presented by: Sultan Khan Zhusip, Director of the "Alash" Research Institute at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, an Alash studies scholar, Alikhan studies scholar, PhD; R.Zh. Mukhamedzhanova, Senior Lecturer at the Department of History and Geography of "Alikhan Bokeikhan University," Candidate of Historical Sciences; Roza Sarkytbekovna Cheketaeva, Academician of the Academy of History and Social Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Candidate of Historical Sciences, history teacher at School-Lyceum No. 43 named after K. Nurgaliev under the Ust-Kamenogorsk City Education Department, Master Teacher, holder of the "Best Teacher" title; Tileugaly Amirtaiuly, Veteran of Pedagogical Labor, Honored Teacher of Kazakhstan, member of the Union of Journalists of Kazakhstan, member of the International Union of Writers, Alikhan studies scholar, employee of the KSU "Centralized Library System of Karaganda City."

In total, more than 100 educators participated in the conference.
