Work to equip medical facilities with modern equipment continues in the Atyrau Region. This remains a priority within the framework of social responsibility projects.

As part of this program, Tengizchevroil donated modern medical equipment worth 660 million tenge to the Makhambet District Hospital, the Regional Communications Service reports.

Thanks to this support, a CT system was launched in the district for the first time.

"The machine was put into operation on April 24. Since then, 160 patients have been examined, one of whom was diagnosed with cancer. The installation of the CT machine has become a significant event for district residents. It is especially important that it now enables the timely and early detection of diseases," hospital physician Aizhan Romanova noted.

In addition, the medical facility received patient monitoring devices, a dental X-ray machine, operating lamps, a dental unit, an ultrasound machine, vision screening equipment, and other equipment.

The new medical equipment was ceremoniously handed over to the hospital. During the event, District Akim Kairat Nurlybayev thanked the sponsoring company, noting that this initiative represents important support aimed at improving public health.

It's worth noting that over the past six months, Tengizchevroil has donated equipment worth a total of 4 billion tenge to 14 medical organizations in the Atyrau region.
