The regional akim Murat Ergeshbayev, the chairman of the regional maslikhat Murat Tleumbetov, honorary citizens Serik Duisenbayev, Omirbek Shamenov, and Hero of Labor Imamzada Shagyrtayev made a working trip to the Zhalagash district, where they met with residents of the villages M. Shamenov, Karaketken, Akkum, and the district's active members.
The meeting discussed the main indicators of the region's socio-economic development and large-scale targeted projects.
The first stage of the agro-industrial cluster "Harvest Agro," launched in the village of Karaketken, is a project that will give a special impetus to the district's economy.
The head of the region instructed the district akimat to effectively use existing opportunities, seek other sources of investment, and increase the tax base.
Attention must also be paid to developing projects for canal concreting in collaboration with economic entities, promptly submitting them for financing, and increasing the volume of moisture-saving crops.
Over the past four years, 192 apartments have been built in the Zhalagash district. The deputy akim of the district overseeing the sector and the head of the construction department must strictly control the quality of social facilities and housing.
The gasification level in the Zhalagash district is 53 percent; a project for gasifying the villages of Karaketken and Bukharbay Batyr has been developed, and instructions were given to attract sponsors for preparing a project for the villages of Akkum and Madeniyet.
The meeting also discussed issues of taking prompt measures to prevent accidents on power grids, effective management of solid household waste, and relevant instructions were given.
The head of the region met with the district's active youth at the "Rukhaniyat" center, where their innovative projects were presented.
The volume of industrial production in the Zhalagash district was fulfilled at 120.0 percent, with products worth 12 billion 269 million tenge produced. The investment volume amounted to 8 billion 290 million tenge, reaching 122.7 percent compared to the reporting period.
Growth is also observed in the agricultural sector. Specifically, this year, local farmers sowed 42,178 hectares, with the rice area amounting to 16,800 hectares.
There are 2,531 small and medium-sized enterprises registered in the district, of which 97.3 percent operate stably.
