A meeting with employers on the employment of unemployed citizens, including persons with disabilities, was organized by the State Institution “Department of Employment and Social Programs of the City of Karaganda”.

The event was attended by representatives of the Municipal Public Institution “Center for Labor Mobility of the Karaganda Region”, deputies of the Karaganda City Maslikhat, business associations, the “Ten Qogam” Social Adaptation Center for Persons with Disabilities, public associations of persons with disabilities, as well as representatives of more than 50 enterprises and organizations of the city.

During the meeting, participants reviewed and discussed issues related to the employment of persons with disabilities, including employment through quota-based and subsidized jobs, the creation of special workplaces, measures to support entrepreneurial initiatives, and vocational training in specialties востребованных on the labor market.

In addition, explanations were provided regarding recent amendments to labor and employment legislation.

Following the meeting, participants emphasized the importance of dialogue between employment authorities and employers on issues related to the employment of unemployed citizens.

This practice will continue throughout the current year.
