Akim of Samar district Serik Zhenisov got acquainted with the construction of a new educational and sports complex at the Ybyrai Mektebi school in Kulynjon village. As part of the project, the construction of a modern dormitory for teachers and students, as well as sports and social infrastructure facilities, has been completed here.
— The facility is fully ready for operation, all living quarters and infrastructure are equipped with furniture and necessary equipment, comfortable living conditions for teachers and students have been created, — said Aidos Agibayev, Deputy project Manager.
During the visit to the facility, the head of the district examined residential premises, classrooms, a library, a medical center, an assembly hall, sports and public spaces. According to him, such projects are of great importance for the development of rural education and the creation of comfortable conditions for children.
— We are grateful to Aydin Zhumadilovich and patrons like him who do not forget their native region and support the development of rural education. Such projects create modern and comfortable conditions for children to study, live, play sports and develop comprehensively," said Serik Zhenisov, Akim of Samar district.
The project became a continuation of the development of the Ybyrai Mektebi school. Two years ago, a "time capsule" was laid in Kulynjon at the site of the future construction of a boarding house and sports infrastructure. The ceremony was attended by former akim of the East Kazakhstan region Ermek Kosherbayev and Kazakh entrepreneur Aydin Rakhimbayev.
The new dormitory consists of two blocks. The first one is designed for teachers to live in — there are fully furnished apartments of various layouts. The second block houses rooms for students, classrooms, a library, a cooking class, an audio and video recording studio, recreation areas, a laundry room and a medical center.
Sports grounds, a workout area, a stadium and a fitness room have already been set up on the territory of the complex. There is also a modern two-storey sports complex with a multifunctional hall for game sports and a separate hall for freestyle wrestling.
In general, the new complex creates modern conditions for round-the-clock accommodation, education and comprehensive development of schoolchildren, as well as promotes the development of sports and additional education in the Samar region.
