Muscat, June 24, 2026, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Sultanate of Oman, A. Tumatov, held a meeting with H.E. the Chairman of the Oman Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Rawas.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the most promising areas of trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as practical joint measures aimed at increasing trade turnover between the two countries.

The Omani side expressed interest in Kazakhstan’s agricultural products and industrial goods and conveyed its readiness to host delegations of Kazakh entrepreneurs in Muscat to familiarize them with the needs and opportunities of the local market.

One of the key outcomes of the meeting was the discussion on the establishment of a Kazakhstan-Oman Business Council, which according to both sides would significantly enhance cooperation between the business communities of the two countries.
