Foreign Ministers of Kazakhstan and Georgia Discuss Bilateral Cooperation
12.07.2026 16:25:50 252Astana, 29 June 2026 – As part of the official visit of Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze to the Republic of Kazakhstan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Maka Botchorishvili.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of Kazakhstan–Georgia cooperation, as well as the implementation of agreements reached at the highest and high levels.
The Ministers particularly noted the fruitful cooperation between the foreign ministries of Kazakhstan and Georgia, the high level of political dialogue, effective coordination in the international arena, and close partnership in trade, economic, transport and logistics areas.
The Ministers emphasized the importance of further developing the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. They also discussed prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as interaction in the fields of tourism and culture.
The parties exchanged views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda and reviewed the schedule of upcoming events.
