A joint meeting of the Regional Commission on Anti-Corruption and the Regional Commission for the Prevention and Elimination of Emergencies was held under the chairmanship of Aktobe Region Akim Askhat Shakharov.

During the meeting, participants reviewed ongoing efforts to prevent corruption in government agencies and organizations, assessed the performance of compliance services, and discussed the region’s preparedness for the wildfire risk season.

The head of the region instructed relevant authorities to strengthen internal corruption risk assessments in government bodies and subordinate organizations, improve the effectiveness of compliance services, and intensify anti-corruption prevention efforts.

In addition, Askhat Shakharov assigned specific tasks to the responsible government agencies to ensure fire safety across the region, ensure the timely launch of fire stations planned under the "Auyl Qutqarushylary" ("Village Rescuers") program, and provide them with the necessary equipment and infrastructure.
