On June 30 – July 1, 2026, Almaty hosted the International Robotics and Innovative Technologies Championship Almaty Tech Cup XII: Age of AI.

This year, schoolchildren, students and young engineers took part in the championship. More than 3,000 participants competed in 14 technological areas, including robotics, unmanned aircraft systems, cybersecurity, aerospace technologies and artificial intelligence.

Over the course of two days, participants presented engineering projects, programmed robots, controlled drones, developed autonomous systems, and trained artificial intelligence models. At these prestigious competitions, the RoboSpark national team performed brilliantly in the FIRST LEGO League Challenge category and won the Almaty Akim's Cup.

Thanks to this victory, the team not only won a cup and a certificate, but also received a ticket to the Asian Championship, which will be held in Beijing, People's Republic of China.

The team included students from schools in the East Kazakhstan region.:

Kenzhehankyzy Amina is a student of the 4th "A" class of KSU "Regional Specialized IT School-Lyceum";

Kenzhehankyzy Inzhu is a student of the 10th "A" class of the KSU "Secondary School No. 33 named after Abai";

Kenzhekhankyzy Inkar is a student of the 9th "B" class of KSU "Secondary School No. 33 named after Abai".

All participants demonstrated a high level of preparation and were among the winners.

The organizers of the championship were the Akimat of Almaty, the USTEM Foundation and the Republican Scientific and Practical Center "Daryn". The event was supported by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Astana Hub international innovation cluster, the Ashyq Aspan Scientific and Educational Foundation and OMODA & JAECOO.

We wish our team to adequately represent Kazakhstan at the Asian Championship, raise the National flag of the country high and achieve new bright victories!
