The State Revenue Department informs citizens and business entities about the need to comply with the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the sphere of turnover of petroleum products.
In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State regulation of production and turnover of certain types of petroleum products" and the Order of the Minister of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated April 30, 2026 No. 175-n/k "On certain issues of export of petroleum products from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan", a ban is in effect on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan from May 21 to November 21, 2026. for six months for the export by road and rail of gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of petroleum products.
According to the requirements of the order, the export of gasoline, diesel fuel and certain types of petroleum products by road is allowed only in fuel tanks provided by the manufacturer of motor vehicles, no more than once a day. The use of additional (self-made or structurally modified) fuel tanks for the export of petroleum products is not allowed.
The State Revenue Department draws special attention of gas station owners and operators to the need for strict compliance with legal requirements when selling fuels and lubricants and preventing their release in violation of established restrictions, including for the purpose of illegal export outside the Republic of Kazakhstan.
We remind you that for violation of the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of state regulation of production and turnover of certain types of petroleum products, liability is provided in accordance with the current legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Compliance with the established restrictions is aimed at ensuring the stability of the domestic market of petroleum products, energy security and protection of the economic interests of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
