Important notice for the retail business!

As of July 1, 2026, the final deadline for the implementation of the National Trade Catalogue (NTC) has arrived. Now absolutely all retailers, including individual entrepreneurs and small shops, are required to use NTIN codes when selling goods.

What do you need to understand?

The NTIN code is not just a formality; it is a mandatory attribute for fiscalization. If your accounting system or cash register is not updated and does not retrieve codes from the NTC, you will not be able to issue KKMs (cash receipts) and process documents in the IS ESF (Electronic Invoices Information System) in accordance with the law.

About temporary codes:

The system allows the use of a temporary XTIN code so that trade does not stop due to the absence of items in the database. However, remember: you have exactly 30 days to convert the XTIN into a permanent NTIN via your personal account on the website nationalcatalog.kz. After a month, the temporary code will be cancelled.

All registration and code assignment procedures are carried out absolutely free of charge.

We strongly recommend not waiting for tax audits and promptly updating your software in cooperation with your technical specialists (Maintenance Centers).
