Today, at the Government meeting chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, the socio-economic development indicators for January-June 2026 and the execution of the republican budget were reviewed. Akim of the region Murat Ergeshbayev participated in the meeting via conference call.
At the meeting following the Government session, the socio-economic indicators of the region for the half-year were discussed.
The region shows positive dynamics in key macroeconomic indicators, with a 14 percent growth in the manufacturing industry. Investment attraction reached 43 percent of the target indicator of 789 billion tenge approved by the Government.
– However, in a number of districts, the plan for industrial production volume and investment in fixed capital has not been fulfilled. Responsible managers overseeing the sector should conduct an analysis of the key indicators.
According to the report as of July 1, regional budget revenues were executed at 111.9 percent. Targeted transfers allocated from the republican budget and the regional budget have been fully utilized at 100 percent. In this regard, heads of departments, akims of cities and districts must fully utilize the funds in accordance with the consolidated plan by the end of the year.
In 2024, appropriate funds were allocated from the regional budget for making adjustments to urban planning projects of settlements and converting them into digital format. However, this work is proceeding slowly. District akims, together with the regional department of construction, architecture, and urban planning, need to coordinate obtaining a positive conclusion from the state expertise on the projects, – said Murat Nalkhozhayevich.
It should be noted that changes are currently being made to the general plan of the city of Kyzylorda. At the meeting, it was instructed, taking into account the facilities under construction and planned for construction in the city, to accelerate the completion of the general plan project, obtain a state expertise conclusion by October 1, and submit it for consideration by the Government.
As for the main indicators, in the region, industry grew by 2.4 percent, manufacturing industry – by 13.8, agricultural products – by 3.9, the volume of construction work – by 31.3, the volume of commissioned housing – by 1.3, trade volume – by 2.6, and investment attraction – by 7.1 percent.
In addition, the meeting discussed the results of the conscription campaign for compulsory military service and the preparation progress for the upcoming period. Responsible specialists were instructed to compile lists of citizens subject to conscription by August 20 and submit them to the akimats of cities and districts, ensure their full delivery to conscription points, search for those evading service, and conduct medical examinations of students.
– Due to the fact that the weather in recent days has increased the fire hazard, emergency situations and forestry institutions must be in full readiness. The Department of Emergency Situations, together with the mobilization training department, must keep the situation under strict daily control.
Also, intensify patrols in bathing areas and at unauthorized water bodies. Conduct awareness-raising work with the population, and take strict control over children's safety, – said the head of the region.
