Nairobi, July 21, 2026 — H.E. Barlybay Sadykov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Republic of Kenya, met with H.E. Eunice Kigenyi, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Uganda to Kenya.

During the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, the expansion of the legal framework, and interaction within international organizations, including the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

Particular attention was paid to Kazakhstan’s initiative to establish an International Water Organization under the auspices of the United Nations.

Following the meeting, the parties reaffirmed their readiness to further strengthen friendly ties and maintain regular dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
