The Internal State Audit Committee in Almaty, with the participation of the Internal Audit Services (IAS) of local executive bodies and police departments of Almaty Region, Zhetysu Region, and the Department of Internal State Audit of Almaty city, conducted a seminar dedicated to current issues of organizing and improving internal state audit.

During the seminar, the main provisions of the Concept for the Development of Internal State Audit until 2030 were reviewed, as well as issues of practical application of standard programs for internal state audit.

Special attention was paid to the results of the IAS activities for the first half of 2026, quality control of audit materials, completeness and validity of audit findings and recommendations.

Issues of timely submission of audit materials and reporting in the RMS/FC subsystem, ensuring the reliability and transparency of information on IAS activities, were also considered.

As part of the seminar, approaches to forming the list of IAS audits for 2027 were discussed, taking into account the results of conducted activities, identified risks, and the state of internal control.

The seminar is aimed at providing methodological assistance, enhancing the professional capacity of the IAS, ensuring uniformity of approaches to conducting audits, and improving the quality and effectiveness of internal state audit.
