Work continues to create modern, safe and comfortable spaces for children.

In accordance with the instructions of the regional akim, two large multifunctional children’s playground complexes were installed last year. They are located in the Triathlon Park and Uly Dala Park. This year, the work has continued, with new complexes installed in Konai and Keruen parks. Another complex is currently being constructed on Youth Boulevard. The work is scheduled to be completed by September 15.

Today, I visited the children’s playground in the Airport residential area and inspected the condition of the facility and the organization of the surrounding territory.

This year, 39 children’s and sports grounds are being installed in the regional center under two programs. Ten of them are being implemented as part of the housing and utilities sector, while 29 are being carried out through the “Participatory Budget” initiative.

Once all this year’s projects are completed, the number of courtyards equipped with children’s and sports grounds will reach 362. This will account for 66% of all courtyards in the city.

Alongside children’s facilities, particular attention is being paid to improving public spaces that can also be used by residents of the surrounding neighborhoods.

For example, as part of a pilot project at School No. 29, around 500 trees have been planted, lighting has been installed, and children’s and sports grounds have been created. The space is intended for all residents of the Airport residential area.

This work will continue. Our task is to ensure that children in every district of the city have access to modern, safe and comfortable places for play, recreation and sports.
