Astana, September 7, 2026 – Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtar Tileuberdi held telephone conversations with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirojiddin Muhriddin, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov, and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov.

The foreign ministers congratulated their Kazakh counterpart on his appointment as Minister of Foreign Affairs, wished him success in his new position, and expressed confidence in the continuation of active bilateral engagement and constructive cooperation.

The interlocutors discussed current issues on the regional and international agenda, the state and prospects of bilateral relations, as well as cooperation within multilateral formats.

Particular attention was paid to further strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation, and the practical implementation of the reached agreements.

The sides also reviewed the schedule of upcoming bilateral and multilateral events.
