During a working trip to Zhambyl region, Gani Beisembayev visited the Support Center for Children in Difficult Life Situations. 102 children are brought up in it.
The Minister got acquainted with the work of the center and the living conditions of the children. Special attention is paid to ensuring a safe environment and protecting the rights of every child. Addressing representatives of local executive bodies, he noted that it is necessary to strengthen the work of methodological services and the regional center for psychological support.
"Ensuring the safety of children and protecting their rights is the main priority of state policy. Every child in the country should grow up in the care and feel the support of adults. To do this, it is extremely important that all authorized bodies effectively perform their functions and coordinate work on the ground. On behalf of the Head of State, Psychological Support Centers have been opened in all regions since this year. It is necessary to strengthen the work of psychologists and prevent incidents related to violations of children's rights in a timely manner. The key point should be the Birtutas Tarbieh program, aimed at a value-oriented approach and education of children in the spirit of national values," Gani Beisembayev said.
The Minister paid special attention to the children staying at the center. They shared their achievements and creative successes. Recall that over the past ten years, the number of orphanages and their pupils in the country has halved. On behalf of the Head of State, they have been transformed into child support centers. In total, there are 36 child support centers in the country, where about 2 thousand pupils live.
