According to the calendar of the international winter sports federations, the winter competition season officially starts every year in late October and early November. This season, which will last until March, athletes will compete for tickets to the XXV Winter Olympic Games, which will be held in 2026 in Milan and Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy. Asian countries are actively preparing for the Asian Games, which will start next year in Harbin.

We present to your attention the schedule of the key November competitions in winter sports:

November 1-3 — the second stage of the Short Track World Cup in Montreal (Canada). The first stage was also held in this city.

October 31 – November 3 — Asian Women's Ice Hockey Championship in Beijing (China), and from November 6 to November 9 — Asian Men's Championship in Almaty. Both championships are being organized for the first time in history.

November 12-13 — International Figure Skating Tournament in Tallinn (Estonia).

November 15-17 — The Four Continents Speed Skating Championships in Hachinohe (Japan).

November 21-25 — Ski Jumping World Cup in Lillehammer (Norway).

November 22-24 — the Speed Skating World Cup in Nagano (Japan).

November 22-24 — International figure skating tournament in China.

November 28 – December 2 — the World Cup in ski jumping in Hand (Finland).

The final competitions of November:

November 29 – December 1 — the Speed Skating World Cup in Beijing (China), in parallel, the World Cup in cross-country skiing in Ruka (Finland) will be held.

November 30 – December 8 — the first stage of the Biathlon World Cup in Kontiolahti (Finland).

November 27 — Freestyle World Cup (mogul) in Hand (Finland).
