Akim of Akmola region Marat Akhmetzhanov held a reporting meeting with residents of Akkol district, where he discussed key issues of the district's development.
The head of the region focused on the need to unleash the industrial potential of the region in accordance with the tasks set by the President of the country. Currently, there is only one medium—sized enterprise in the district - AKKOL KUS LLP, and the contribution to the total industrial production of the region is only 0.3%.
Marat Akhmetzhanov stressed that the location of the district near the capital and its agricultural potential create significant opportunities to attract investment, which will contribute to job creation and growth of budget revenues, which in turn will allow the district to solve social and infrastructural problems.
During the discussion of the agricultural sector, the governor of the region noted the positive results of local farmers. This year, the yield was more than 14 quintals per hectare, and the total volume of grain was about 200 thousand tons.
Animal husbandry, where dairy production is actively developing, is also highlighted among the priority areas. Enbek LLP is building a 900-head farm under the preferential lending program, which will increase the total dairy herd to 1,500 heads and significantly increase the production of commercial milk.
In addition, Akhmetzhanov stressed the tourist potential of the district as part of the capital tourism and instructed the akimat to strengthen work on attracting investments in this area.
Within the framework of the Auyl Amanaty state program, successful livestock projects are also being implemented in the district, such as horse breeding by IP Bolashak and sheep breeding by IP Emir.
The Governor of the region also touched upon issues of infrastructure development, noting the presence of unfinished projects and called on local authorities to effectively use budget funds and improve planning.
At the meeting with the population, questions were asked about road repairs, housing, the need for a bus to pick up children, and many others. Also, at a personal reception of citizens, the head of the region answered the questions of the residents of the village.
