To date, work is underway in the Borovskaya and Yubileyny microdistricts of the city of Kokshetau to drill 3 wells and build a new water pipeline. This project, implemented under a mediation agreement, is aimed at significantly improving the quality and reliability of water supply for a significant part of the city.
Specialists of the Kokshetau Su Arnasy enterprise are laying a new water pipe with a diameter of 250 mm from an underground water intake located in the area of the hill. Within the framework of the project, it is also planned to restore clean water tanks with a volume of 500 m3.
"The new water supply system will provide an alternative source of high-quality groundwater for residents of Borovskaya, Yubileyny and Beibitshilik neighborhoods, as well as for enterprises in the Eastern Industrial zone. After completion of the work, it is planned to complete the landscaping of the territory. All work is carried out in accordance with the project documentation and all necessary permits," said Yuri Shengalts, General Director of the Kokshetau Su Arnasy enterprise.
It should be noted that the implementation of the project to launch an auxiliary groundwater deposit in Kokshetau began in August 2024, and work in these areas began 2 weeks ago.
