Vice Minister of Tourism and Sports Yerzhan Yerkinbayev met with representatives of foreign media at an event organized within the framework of the Kazakhstan Global Investment Roundtable. The purpose of the event is to strengthen international cooperation and develop the country's tourism industry.
The event was attended by representatives of leading media from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, Turkey, China, Kyrgyzstan and other countries. Yerzhan Yerkinbayev opened the meeting by presenting the achievements and prospects for the development of the tourism sector in Kazakhstan to the participants of the event.
In his speech, he stressed the importance of international cooperation for the sustainable growth of tourism and the creation of favorable conditions for investors.
"We are ready to provide comprehensive support to every investor, regardless of the volume of investments. Kazakhstan continues to develop its tourism infrastructure: about 449 projects have already been implemented, and about 300 new initiatives are planned to be launched in the near future. These steps are aimed at maintaining the country's leading position in attracting foreign direct investment in Central Asia and strengthening its influence in the international arena," Ye stressed.
