The Kazakhstan Round Table on Global Investments (KGIR-2024) was held in the capital of Kazakhstan, which brought together more than 500 delegates from various countries, including representatives of international companies and experts.
The event, headed by Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, discussed key investment trends and their impact on international strategies.
Special attention was paid to the issues of industrial development of the regions. Within the framework of KGIR-2024, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Akimat of Aktobe region and MKS Vostok LLP for the implementation of a project to build a plant for the production of technical methanol in Aktobe region. The new project will allow the development of local methanol production, which will contribute to import substitution and strengthen the economic potential of the region.
Also during the event, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan presented awards to the best investors for their significant contribution to the development of the regional economy. In particular, the company "Zerde Ceramics" LLP was noted for its contribution to the construction industry of the Aktobe region.
Within the framework of KGIR-2024, Deputy Akim of Aktobe region Abdikarimov A.A. held a number of meetings with business representatives from the USA, Spain, Iran, as well as with Kazakhstani and international manufacturers in the fields of electrical engineering, construction industry, automotive industry, etc. These negotiations are aimed at strengthening business ties and promoting further economic development of the region.
KGIR-2024 has become a unique platform for sharing experiences and discussing new opportunities for growth and investment cooperation.
