A new house of culture with a library will be built in the village of Kopbirlik in the Zhetisu region. This became known today during a meeting of the akim of the region Beibit Isabayev with the residents of the village, held near the recently introduced new sports and recreation complex. Taking into account the requests of residents, the head of the region instructed the relevant responsible persons to begin preparatory work for the construction of an important social facility, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
During the meeting, residents of Kopbirlik village noted that the road to the village has been repaired, and the quality of drinking water has improved. In turn, Beibit Isabayev stressed that work to improve the quality of life of the population will continue:
- Kopbirlik is one of the most remote villages in the region. As part of the execution of the instructions of the President of the country, we pay attention to the improvement and development of not only the settlements closest to the regional center, but also remote villages. To improve the quality of life of the population, first of all, high-quality drinking water, roads, light and social facilities are needed. People should feel the improvement not in words, but in deeds. We made a road leading to your village, solved the problem with water quality. A new sports and recreation complex and a rural akimat have been built. Now, taking into account your requests, we will build a cultural center with a library. An equally important issue is the creation of a fire station for two rural districts, equipped with everything necessary. We will also continue work on repairing streets and stopping lighting, - said the head of the region B. Isabayev.
In turn, expressing gratitude for the support provided, the villagers voiced their requests and suggestions.
- For many years, you are the first akim of the region who specially came to us, to our remote village. This suggests that our problems are not ignored. For example, we have built a modern sports and recreation complex. We are still happy, young people are engaged in sports, which means that the health of the nation is being strengthened. There are sections on judo, table tennis, togyzkumalak, volleyball, basketball. Our children are happy to visit. I believe that new champions will come out of here who will glorify our country. Now our request is to build a workout area on the territory of the sports complex, especially since there is a free space behind the building," said villager Nurlan Berdakhmetov.
But another villager noted the need to allocate a minibus to transport rural children to various kinds of competitions.
Having supported the proposals voiced by the villagers, the akim of the region gave appropriate instructions to the akim of the district and responsible persons.
The participants of the meeting also discussed the problem of the condition of the 2.5 km long road to Lake Balkhash. As the villagers noted, it is especially difficult to get to the coast during the rainy season. Beibit Isabayev, noting that it is necessary to provide a gravel surface, said that the necessary financial support will be provided.
By the way, on the same day, as part of a working visit to the Karatal district, akim of the region Beibit Isabayev visited the rural akimat in the village of Kopbirlik, got acquainted with the progress of the overhaul of block B of the district polyclinic, and also visited the newly opened military enlistment office of a new type in Ushtobe. Also in the village of Eskeldy, the head of the region inspected the progress of the construction of block-modular FOCA and a house of culture.
