Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Tamara Duysenova, together with akim of the region Nurdaulet Kilybay, visited a number of social facilities and held a meeting with specialists in the field of education, health and sports.
In order to improve the quality of Education, attention is paid to the creation of a network of reference schools in the regions. At the same time, the project "Otpan" was launched in Mangistau region. Together with the fund for Sustainable Development of Education, the largest companies in the region are involved in its implementation. Tamara Duissenova also got acquainted with the life of schools No. 15 and No. 29 in Aktau, which are included in the project. The material and technical base of educational centers in the Regional Center is significantly strengthened. And for teachers, various thematic courses and seminars are organized.
"The head of state pays special attention to education. In his address to the people of Kazakhstan this year, he set specific tasks in this direction. There are educational institutions in the country that use advanced teaching methods, such as Nazarbayev Intellectual Schools, Educational and innovation lyceums. Their experience should be widely disseminated. The network of support schools is of great importance in this regard," Tamara Duysenova said.
Within the framework of the visit, a special meeting was organized with the participation of the heads of schools of the region. During the meeting, topical issues of the development of Secondary Education in the region were discussed.
The prospects of preschool education in the region were also considered. In particular, work continues on the unification of programs in primary school and kindergartens in schools. For parents of children who are not covered by preschool educational institutions, there are 169 counseling centers in Mangystau region at kindergartens. Digitalization of the queue of pre-school education facilities will also remain in the spotlight
Tamara Duissenova got acquainted with the work of the kindergarten "Balbulak" in the Regional Center. In the institution, where more than 300 children receive education, there are offices of Montessori, speech therapists, psychologists.
During the meeting, the results of the pilot voucher financing method in Taraz were presented. This system has opened the way for budget funding for all kindergartens that meet the requirements. Thanks to the transparency of funding, the funds of the Treasury were saved, providing parents with the opportunity to choose a preschool educational institution.
"The system shows its effectiveness. The voucher financing method is being introduced in Shymkent and Turkestan. A system that meets the interests of parents and children should be implemented in all regions," Tamara Duysenova said.
The head of state declared the coming year "the Year of working professions". In this regard, the task is to transform the sphere of technical and vocational education in the country. Currently, work is underway to profile colleges.
For example, Mangystau College of Tourism trains specialists in the service sector. Close relations are established with large institutions in the region and abroad. Dual training has been established and conditions have been created for the employment of graduates.
On the basis of the College, issues related to the field of technical and vocational education were discussed, and a special meeting was organized. It was attended by college directors in the region.
There are 26 institutions of technical and vocational education in the region. The employment rate of graduates is about 72%. The main colleges of the region were announced, and the exchange of experience was carried out.
"It is planned to evaluate the quality of work of colleges and classify them into leagues. It is necessary to introduce international standards into the educational process. This is necessary to increase the competitiveness of trained specialists. Incentive payments will be provided to colleges that have introduced international industry standards, where the majority of graduates receive high wages," Tamara Duysenova said.
