"Today, the main activity of the Ministry of energy is focused on such strategic areas as the oil and gas and energy industries, as well as the implementation of gas infrastructure, power supply, heat supply and providing the population with petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas.
The volume of electricity production in the region for 11 months of 2024 is 0.8 billion kWh. at the same time, consumption in the region amounted to 1.4 billion kWh. "LLP"" Tekeli energy complex"", the physical wear of the main equipment of which is 66.47%, will provide the installed 24 MW of electricity and the installed 42 Gcal/H of thermal power, "" the vice minister noted."
According to the vice minister, Zhetysu region has great potential for the development of renewable energy sources. A significant part of the country's water energy reserves is concentrated in this region.
11 renewable energy facilities with a capacity of 209.7 MW operate in the region, including: 8 hydroelectric power plants with a capacity of 104.7 MW, 1 solar power plant with a capacity of 4.95 MW, 2 wind power plants with a capacity of 100 MW.
In addition, by 2029, it is planned to launch 8 small hydroelectric power plants with an installed capacity of about 131 MW, and the implementation of a project for the construction of a wind farm with a total capacity of 1000 MW is being considered by the Saudi company ACWA Power Company.
As for gasification, today about 319 thousand people are provided with natural gas in the region, by the end of 2024 it is planned to provide gas to more than 91.2 thousand people in 44 settlements.
After the reporting meeting, the vice minister personally received citizens, within the framework of which residents were able to get detailed answers to their questions.
After the report, the vice minister answered citizens ' questions about the gasification of individual settlements, the possibility of increasing the volume of liquefied petroleum gas allocated to the region, as well as the volume of electricity consumption due to changes in the watch belt, etc.
