The Ministry of Education is launching the project "100 Mediation Schools", aimed at creating a safe and supportive educational environment. As part of the initiative, school mediation services will be launched in all schools of the country, which will contribute to effective conflict resolution and prevent negative consequences for schoolchildren, teachers and parents.

To ensure a unified approach to the work of such services, methodological recommendations developed by the NAO named after Y. have been approved.Altynsarina. They include theoretical and practical materials necessary for the creation and successful functioning of school mediation services. These recommendations will form the basis for the introduction of mediation practices in educational institutions.

"The main goal is to create a favorable, humane and safe space for the development and socialization of children, including support in difficult life situations. In addition, the services will provide assistance in resolving family law disputes. School reconciliation services are an important tool for conflict resolution, and the use of mediation practices will reduce the number of controversial situations and improve the psychological climate in educational institutions," said Nasymzhan Ospanova, Chairman of the Committee for the Protection of Children's Rights of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Mediation services include high school students, teachers, educational psychologists, social educators, parents, as well as representatives of non-governmental organizations, boards of trustees and the older generation.
