The project on the development of a network of support schools "Otp" is being implemented in the Mangystau region

In order to improve the quality of education, in April of this year, the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan launched a project to develop a network of support schools "Otp" in the Mangystau region. It includes 50 schools with 60 thousand students and 7 thousand teachers.
Minister of Education Gani Beisembayev got acquainted with the progress of the project during a working trip to Beineu. According to him, the state pays special attention to improving the quality of education. Since last year, the country has been implementing the Republican project "Auyl mektebi — sapa alany", which includes regional initiatives such as: "Development of the potential of small rural schools using digital technologies" in Aktobe region, "Improving the quality of education in natural sciences and mathematics" in Almaty region and "Development of a network of support schools "Otp" in Mangystau region, Ustaz Ulytau in Ulytau region.
"The republican project "Auyl mektebi — sapa alany" is an important step in the implementation of the state policy to improve the quality of education, covering all aspects of the educational process. This is not only the renewal of the educational infrastructure, equipping schools with modern technologies, but also the introduction of new teaching methods. An important element of the project is to improve the professional level of teachers through training in modern teaching methods.The first results of the Republican project already show a significant improvement in the quality of education in rural schools, by an average of 7-9%," the minister said.
As a result of the work carried out in the Mangystau region, more than 50 educational spaces have been updated today, including subject rooms and STEM laboratories. Art and television studios have been launched, and recreation areas for students have been created. About 300 teachers and school administrations have improved their professional competence. The project itself will last two years. The participants of the process will be accompanied by monitoring of educational achievements, and after that they will receive post-project support from JSC NPCC "Orleu" and NAO named after Y.Altynsarina.
It should be noted that the Otp project is being implemented with the support of the Ministry of Education and the Akimat of the Mangystau region with the participation of the Foundation for Sustainable Development of Education, the Halyk Charitable Foundation.
