On December 16, the legendary opera singer, actress, teacher Bibigul Tulegenova celebrates her birthday. This year, the People's Artist, the knight of the Order of Otan turns 95 years old.
On Bibigul Tulegenova's birthday, Mayor of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev read out a congratulatory letter on behalf of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
In his letter, the Head of State emphasized the uniqueness and outstanding contribution of Bibigultulegenova to the development of the national culture of Kazakhstan, noting that her work inspires generations and serves as a symbol of pride.
"A long and fruitful creative path has elevated you to the heights of recognition. You have left a rich legacy in the gold fund of our country and educated talented, worthy students. Your great work has been marked by high state awards, honorary titles and special insignia, which is recognition of your merits," the congratulatory message of the Head of State reads.
In turn, Bibigul Tulegenova expressed gratitude for the warm wishes and congratulated all Kazakhstanis on Independence Day.
On December 21, at 15:00, a solemn concert in honor of the 95th anniversary of Bibigul Tulegenova will be held at the Palace of the Republic.
The program will feature the greatest works of classical and Kazakh music performed by outstanding artists, for whom Bibigul Akhmetovna's work has become an inspiration and a guiding star.
It should be noted that about 150 events were held in Kazakhstan as part of the anniversary of the legendary singer: concerts, exhibitions, musical evenings, round tables and conferences.
