A solemn concert was held in Astana in honor of the 95th anniversary of Bibigul Tulegenova.
The event was organized by the State Academic Concert Organization "Kazakconcert" with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The evening opened with a video message from the jubilee. Archival footage, musical numbers and memories created a unique atmosphere.
The program included works of world and national music performed by soloists of the Center for National Art "Halyk Kazynasy", the Kazakh Symphony Orchestra, the Gulder Ensemble and other collectives.
This concert is distinguished by its documentary and educational concept. Bibigul Tulegenova shared her creative path through video materials: she talked about becoming an artist, key opera roles, memories of colleagues on stage and touring trips. The concert is not only musical and choreographic performances, but also a deeply informative video presentation covering all stages of her creative career. The audience had a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the most important moments of her life and work, as well as to better understand the scale of her achievements and personal qualities.
The evening was decorated with performances by invited guests — Honored Workers of Kazakhstan Tolkyn Zabirova and Zhupar Gabdullina.
The concert was attended by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, as well as many prominent figures of culture, art and the public. The main guest and heroine of the evening was Bibigul Tulegenova herself.
The culmination of the concert was the performance of the song "Mama" by all the artists. This touching number has become a symbol of the eternal values of family, love and humanity, which have always been reflected in the work of Bibigul Tulegenova.
The concert became a bright cultural event, which once again highlighted the enormous contribution of the outstanding opera singer to the development of the musical art of Kazakhstan.
As a sign of respect and recognition from the Ministry of Culture and Information, Bibigul Tulegenova was presented with a basket of flowers.
It should be noted that about 150 events were held in Kazakhstan as part of the anniversary of the legendary singer: concerts, exhibitions, musical evenings, round tables and conferences.
