On the eve of Independence Day, the 11th creative hub in the country, ÖzgeEpic, opened its doors in Turkestan. The creative space was created on behalf of the Head of State. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev pays special attention to the development of creative industries and has set the task of opening hubs in all major cities of Kazakhstan.
The solemn event was attended by deputies of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, representatives of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kazpost JSC, local executive bodies and creators of the region.

The creative hub in Turkestan was opened under an agreement between the Ministry of Culture and Information and Kazpost JSC. The center is located in the building of one of the branches of the joint-stock company. Collaboration involves not only a common location, but also a number of joint projects.
At the opening of the hub, the Invisible World exhibition was also presented, aimed at supporting an inclusive creative industry.
The area of the creative site is 400 sq.m. The emphasis is on folk crafts, which occupy the bulk of the creative activity of the region.
In total, 1,341 subjects of creative industries are registered in the Turkestan region. The region is a leader in such areas as tailoring and accessories manufacturing.
