To implement the President's instructions, the national infrastructure plan of Kazakhstan until 2029, which includes 204 major projects, was developed and approved by the Government.
These projects cover four main areas:
Energy infrastructure (46 projects) – modernization and construction of new facilities in the field of heat and electricity supply, including thermal power plants, hydroelectric power plants and energy facilities. This will ensure stable and reliable energy supply to all regions of the country.
Transport infrastructure (59 projects) – development of major transport corridors, reconstruction of highways and modernization of the railway network. This will improve domestic and international logistics and increase the economic attractiveness of Kazakhstan as a transport hub.
Water supply and sanitation infrastructure (89 projects) – construction and modernization of water supply, sanitation and wastewater treatment facilities. This is primarily aimed at improving living conditions in rural and remote settlements where the problem of water resources is acute.
Digital Infrastructure (10 projects) – implementation of digital solutions for infrastructure control and management, which ensures efficiency and transparency at all stages of project implementation.
