The new Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan has introduced a number of important innovations aimed at the development of the country. The content of the Constitution has been updated in accordance with modern requirements and the strategic priorities of the state have been clearly outlined. The new Constitution places special emphasis on the development of education and science, as well as support for culture and innovation, as a central idea. Digital results for 2025 KEDEN IS: new services and expanded functionality 20.02.2026
The State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan continues the phased digitization of customs administration through the KEDEN information system. In 2025, significant results were achieved in the transition of customs procedures to electronic format. As part of the development of the KEDEN IS, 12 customs public services, 3 types of permits, and 2 types of customs declarations (for vehicles and passengers) were converted to electronic format. In addition, a number of new digital services have been implemented to simplify the interaction of businesses and citizens with customs authorities.The system's design has been updated and its functionality significantly expanded. New modules and services have been introduced, including viewing price information on goods, checking customs clearance of vehicles by VIN code, tracking the status of electronic documents, online payment of budget payments, working with licenses and permits, delegation of access rights, document management in a personal account, access to the registers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the EAEU, an interactive map of customs authorities, and display of active user statistics.The Passenger Customs Declaration and Personal Use Goods Accounting modules have ensured full automation of declarations and the ability to submit documents via mobile applications. At the Khorgos International Customs and Logistics Center, the baggage clearance process is fully automated using biometric technologies and integration with the border service.To ensure full information exchange, 46 integrations of the KEDEN IS with state and external information systems have been implemented. This allows the necessary information to be received and transmitted in electronic format during customs administration.Currently, testing and preparation for the launch of the Goods Declaration module is underway.
