Cattle and pigs are most commonly affected, while sheep, goats, and wild ungulates are less susceptible. Young animals are more susceptible and experience more severe symptoms than adults. Humans can also contract foot-and-mouth disease. The causative agent of foot-and-mouth disease is a virus that is not resistant to high temperatures and quickly dies when heated to 60 degrees, exposed to UV rays, and ordinary disinfectants. Low temperatures, high humidity, and a neutral environment are particularly favorable conditions for the virus to survive in the external environment. Animals that have recovered from one type of virus may become ill if they are infected with a different type of virus. The source of the disease is sick animals, including those in the incubation period.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kostanai-mendykarin-audany-akimat/press/news/details/1162293?lang=kk

Peace is the pillar of stability 11.08.2025
Peace in society is the main guarantee of the country's development. It is not just peace, but a culture and way of life that is ingrained in the minds of the people. Kazakhstan has accumulated experience that can serve as an example to the world in forming and preserving this value. Interethnic harmony is not the result of a one-time campaign or administrative decision. It is a long-term, systematic, and thoughtful socio-political process. The Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan plays an important role in this direction. The Assembly created a space of trust in the country, allowing representatives of each ethnic group to openly express their opinions, present their proposals, and participate in the decision-making process. Peace begins with mutual understanding. In a multi-ethnic country, it is natural for there to be diversity in language, religion, and culture. But these differences should serve to strengthen agreement and harmony, not to divide society. For this, education, culture, information policy, and educational work should converge to one goal. Today's peace is one of Kazakhstan's greatest achievements. Because many countries in the world are facing instability due to the lack of social harmony. On the contrary, we are firmly moving towards the future, making unity our main value. #МирИСогласие #ЗаМир #МыВместе #PeaceAndHarmony #PeaceForAll #TogetherForPeace #АНК30жил #АНК30лет #APK30years #АНК #ANK
On August 10, the village of Ayet hosted events dedicated to the 180th anniversary of the birth of the great poet, thinker, and enlightener Abai Kunanbayev. 11.08.2025
At 10:00 a.m., the snow-white monument to Abai welcomed the villagers who came to pay tribute to the genius. A flower-laying ceremony was held at the monument. Words of sincere gratitude and respect for the great heritage were expressed by Olga Nurgalieva, Head of the Department of Internal Policy, and Gauhar Asanova, Head of the Central Library System of the district. The speakers noted that Abai’s 180th anniversary is not only a reason for pride, but also an invitation to a serious dialogue with his legacy. It is an opportunity to reread The Book of Words not as a historical document, but as a roadmap for self-improvement—both for the individual and for society as a whole. The path Abai began is not complete. Each new generation must walk it again, finding in his words wisdom, strength, and, most importantly, heart. The atmosphere of the event was filled with pride for the great son of the Kazakh people and respect for the spiritual values he left to posterity. The celebration continued at the District House of Culture. The musical and poetic event “Abai – wise, Abai – unique, always!” was opened by hosts Tanatkan Zhursin and Diana Abzhanova. They noted that by celebrating Abai Day, we honor not only the memory of one man, but also the eternal values he left to all of us. In them is embodied his entire life and his dreams of a bright future. His pen was the sword of justice; his thought, the voice of reason. Abai is a poet whose words still inspire today. His philosophy, his Kara Sozder (“Words of Edification”), are a treasure for all generations, translated into many languages. It consists of 45 brief parables on morality, law, and history. On stage, in the image of Abai, appeared Marhabat Nokishov, an actor of the People’s Theater. He recited the First Word of Edification. The artistic director of the House of Culture, Aiman Zybaleva, spoke about the childhood years of the genius. She emphasized that to understand the essence of Abai, one must start with his name. The ocean of Abai’s wisdom is, in essence, contained within his short name—Abai. By immersing ourselves in it, we find not only beautiful poetry and culture, but also ourselves. Answers to questions not about yesterday, but about today. For a classic is a classic precisely because he is our contemporary.A. Zybaleva continued her speech with the poem Be Discerning in Your Path. Daryga Aisagalieva tenderly and delicately performed Abai’s work Zhelsiz tünde zharik ay (“A Bright Moon on a Windless Night”).The audience was able to touch the wisdom and spiritual heritage of the great poet through the vivid performances of the participants, filled with deep meaning and love for their native culture.Maira Myrzagalieva spoke about the youth and mature years of Abai, as well as the Fifteenth Word of Edification. Young musicians Alibek Zharylkasynov and Aibek Baltabayev performed the well-known kyuis Tory zhorga and Kerbez sulu.Abai Kunanbayev translated about 50 works by A.S. Pushkin, M.Yu. Lermontov, and I.A. Krylov. His poetic translations from Russian literature became a national treasure. Tatyana’s Letter from Pushkin’s Eugene Onegin was performed by Daryga Aisagalieva.Abai often wrote about the mighty power of love and about beauty, which transforms and uplifts a person. Love in the poet’s verses is elevated and noble. One of Abai’s most famous and beloved works among the people, Ayttym Salem, Kalamkas, was performed by Talgat Shakeldikov.Once again, Abai’s verses were heard from the stage. This time, the image of the genius—again in the performance of Marhabat Nokishov—addressed the youth with advice on what a true person should be in If You Wish to Be Human. It has been 180 years since Abai’s birth, yet he is still with us—in our songs, in our thoughts, in our hearts. May Abai’s word lead us toward the light of knowledge, love, and harmony!Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kostanai-bmalin-audany-akimat/press/news/details/1048550?lang=kk
Public Works for Domestic Abuser and Brawler in Ust-Kamenogorsk 11.08.2025
Public Works for Domestic Abuser and Brawler in Ust-KamenogorskTwo men in Ust-Kamenogorsk, whose alcohol-fueled disputes led to violence, are now serving their sentences by cleaning up the city's streets. A court sentenced them to a combined 300 hours of community service and placed them under the supervision of the probation service. One incident occurred during the holidays when a man, instead of breaking up a fight, hit a friend over the head with a bottle. For this, he received 200 hours of community service and mandatory treatment for alcoholism. The second case involved domestic violence, where a man physically assaulted his common-law wife. A timely call to the police saved the woman, and her partner was sentenced to 100 hours of work. His wife noted that he is changing for the better and is glad he was given a chance to reform. After completing his service, he plans to find a job."Community service is not just a punishment, but an opportunity to benefit society and start a new, law-abiding life. Probation officers constantly interact with convicts, monitor their work schedules, and help them find a way out of difficult life situations," said Yernar Ilyashev, acting head of the Probation Service Department of the Penitentiary Department for the East Kazakhstan Region. The convicts are cleaning up garbage in residential areas and manually pulling out overgrown weeds along the roads. One of them, who is on probation, noted that he previously worked as a janitor and knows every corner of the neighborhood. Probationers work four hours a day, cleaning the city streets. However, they should remember that community service is not just serving a sentence, but also a test of their law-abiding nature. If they ignore the rules of serving their sentence, fail to show up for work, or violate their schedule, they face a harsher punishment, including potential prison time. The sentences handed down by the court must be carried out in full, and compliance is under the strict control of the probation service. This is the last opportunity for these individuals to avoid prison and return to a normal life.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/duis-vko/press/news/details/1048566?lang=kk
