Consul General took part in the First International Paragliding Festival 13.05.2025
On May 10, 2025, the Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Samarkand, Talgat Sharipov, took part in the opening ceremony of the First International Paragliding Festival, held in the mountains of the Urgut district of the Samarkand region with the participation of more than 70 athletes from 10 countries, including Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, France, Great Britain, Turkey and Tajikistan. The Kazakh side was represented by experienced paragliders from the Samuryk Summer School. The results of monitoring the use of the state language on the official Internet resources of government agencies. 13.05.2025
The Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region held a seminar meeting to discuss the results of monitoring the use of the state language on the official Internet resources of government agencies. This work was carried out in accordance with paragraph 27 of the Concept for the Development of Language Policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029 and article 8 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Languages in the Republic of Kazakhstan". During the monitoring, the official Internet resources of 48 government agencies were checked, 77 violations were identified. In particular: In 36 cases, government documents and official information were not published in full.; In 37 cases, there was no complete information about the institution's activities. During the workshop, the identified violations were discussed, and specific recommendations were given to government agencies to eliminate them. On February 25, 2025, as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan and the International Mother Tongue Day, at the initiative of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region, a solemn presentation of the textbook "Ana tili", intended for the study of ethnic languages, took place. The textbook was developed by order of the Committee for Language Policy of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Scientific and Practical Center "Til-Kazyna" named after Sh. Shayakhmetov. The event was attended by representatives of government agencies, non-governmental organizations, mass media, higher educational institutions, ethno-cultural associations and members of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. During the meeting, issues of implementing language policy in the region, promoting the native languages of ethnic groups were discussed, and the structure and features of the new textbook were presented. Representatives of ethnic and cultural associations expressed gratitude to local executive bodies for supporting the study of native languages and emphasized the role of the Kazakh language in strengthening the unity of the people. The textbook "Ana tili", intended for teaching Armenian, Bashkir and Korean languages, is recommended for use in the educational process. Regional competition "language and traditions"was held in Kostanay region 13.05.2025
On March 13, 2025, on the eve of the Nauryz holiday, at the initiative of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region, the regional competition "Til men dastur" ("Language and Tradition") was held, aimed at popularizing folk oral art. The event was attended by intellectuals, language movement activists, journalists, government officials and military personnel. A special feature of the competition was that the teams were formed from specialists in various fields, and the participants demonstrated their skills in public speaking and folk wisdom, passing through four stages.: Bilgenge – marzhan, bilmegenge – arzan – demonstration of public speaking samples; Soz mayegi – maqal – a selection of proverbs and sayings on a given topic; "Oily bolsan, tauyp kor" – solving riddles with the help of artificial intelligence; "Kim zhanylispaydy?!" – fast and correct pronunciation of tongue twisters. The meeting marked a significant step forward in strengthening practical cooperation in the field of digital customs administration and enhancing regional logistics integration. The Kazakh delegation commended the UAE's advanced experience in customs automation, risk-based management, and process transformation. During the discussions, Kazakhstan reaffirmed its readiness to adopt best practices from the Emirates as part of its national reform agenda and to serve as a reliable partner in advancing regional digital logistics connectivity. Strasbourg, May 9, 2025 – The Consulate General of Kazakhstan took part in the solemn wreath-laying ceremony at the gravesites of Soviet soldiers and honored the memory of Kazakhstani soldiers who perished during the Great Patriotic War on the territory of France.The event, organized by the Consulate General of Russia in Strasbourg at the city’s Southern Cemetery, was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, city administration officials, the leadership of the memorial, as well as local residents and activists who emphasized the significance of the soldiers’ heroism in the struggle for France’s freedom.It is symbolic that, on the eve of the 80th Anniversary of Victory, the French Grand Est was visited by the renowned Kazakh researcher, historian and professor, G.Mendikulova. As part of her working visit, meetings and negotiations were held with representatives of local authorities, archival institutions, and public organizations aimed at locating the burial sites of Soviet Kazakh soldiers who died during World War II.It is known that on the territory of the memorial to Soviet soldiers established in 1971 and the cemetery of the commune of Valleroy (Meurthe-et-Moselle Department) there are burials of Kazakh soldiers – Zeinulla Alimgaziev, Konyspek Zhakiianov, Mysakhan (Nishan) Turgambaev and Isin (Esen) Dzhumagulov, who were discovered in 2018 thanks to the work of Professor G.Mendikulova with the support of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in France.
