        On June 4, 2025, the 50th anniversary meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states was held in the Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic. The Kazakh delegation was headed by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Zh. Duisembiev.       Since the establishment of this platform, the heads of customs services have adopted more than 1,000 decisions aimed at improving and developing customs affairs within the EAEU.      At the anniversary meeting, decisions were made to enhance the risk management system, customs valuation control, and the uniform classification of certain goods.      In addition, a decision was considered to amend and supplement EAEU legislation to minimize cases of “false transit” within the customs territory of the Union.      The heads of customs services signed a decision to establish a Working Group on the Application of the Customs Transit Procedure, which will contribute to the development of the transit potential of the EAEU member states.     As part of the meeting, an award ceremony was held, during which employees of the State Revenue Committee were presented with commemorative medals titled “50th Meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of EAEU Member States” in recognition of their significant contribution to the development of integrated customs cooperation.      The next meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the EAEU is scheduled to take place in the third quarter of this year.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/kgd/press/news/details/1012042?lang=kk

       On June 4 of this year, the Kyrgyz Republic hosted the 80th anniversary meeting of the Council of Heads of Customs Services of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). The Kazakh delegation was led by the Chairman of the State Revenue Committee, Mr. Zh. Duisembiev.       The Council was established to implement the provisions of the Treaty on the Establishment of an Economic Union by a decision of the CIS Council of Heads of Government dated September 24, 1993.       Since its inception, the Council has held 80 meetings and adopted over 750 decisions by the heads of customs services of the CIS member states.      During the anniversary meeting, the Parties emphasized that the establishment and functioning of the Council has contributed significantly to the development of customs administration, the formation of advanced law enforcement practices, and the implementation of effective customs control measures across the CIS region.      The heads of customs services adopted a number of decisions aimed at ensuring uniformity and improvement of customs control procedures.      In particular, decisions were made regarding the harmonized control of imported hybrid vehicles and related equipment, the development of customs infrastructure, and the establishment of a working group on goods classification and origin.      International awards ceremony was held following the meeting. A mega-farm for 8 thousand heads will appear in our region. It will be implemented by Peasant Partnership "Zenchenko i K", investing 9 billion tenge in the project.
