On December 4, 2025, an online Open Day was held at all UAPF branches as part of public outreach efforts. In November of this year, the Head of State signed the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts on intellectual property issues. The law is aimed at strengthening protection in the field of intellectual property. Amendments to the legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on intellectual property issues:The main innovation in the field of intellectual property rights protection is the Unified Digital Platform (EDS) in the field of collective rights management. It will allow recording the use of works and the accrual of remuneration in a single system, providing transparency and convenience for both authors and users. Его проект направлен на строительство предприятия по производству гранул/абсорбента, применяемого как гигиенический наполнитель для домашних животных, а также в строительстве, сельском хозяйстве и экологических целях (например, при ликвидации аварий с разливом горюче-смазочных материалов).Клиент с прогрессивным подходом к бизнесу целенаправленно выбрал новый продукт — кредит в цифровом тенге — чтобы развивать производство с применением современных технологий.Новый финансовый инструмент особенно удобен для бизнеса, предоставляя ряд преимуществ:удаленное оформление;быстрое рассмотрение заявки и выдача средств;прозрачное выполнение условий госпрограмм;отсутствие налоговых проверок, что снижает административные и финансовые издержки;сокращение срока возврата НДС с 55–75 до 15 рабочих дней.Сумма привлеченных инвестиций составляет 250 млн тенге сроком на 7 лет под 12,6% годовых. In accordance with the directives of the Head of State outlined in the 2025 Address — aimed at the large-scale integration of artificial intelligence technologies into the work of government agencies — the Main Command of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted a training session on the use of the National Artificial Intelligence Platform (NAIP).The session was led by Laura Azhbagambetova, Manager of the Artificial Intelligence Department at “ GovTech Qazaqstan” JSC. During the training, she presented the functional capabilities of the NAIP, developed under the state digital transformation program, and provided a detailed overview of the prospects for implementing AI solutions in the operational activities of National Guard units.The training program included a demonstration of the platform’s key modules:an AI-powered translator for document flow;an automatic meeting-protocol generation system;work with the Gemma model — an analogue of ChatGPT;and tools for creating custom AI agents designed to automate internal processes.All operations and demonstrations were carried out within a secure, closed ETS environment, ensuring a high level of information security and excluding internet access.In the future, this will enhance the efficiency of modern AI technologies, accelerate the processing of official information, improve the quality of administrative decisions, and optimize workflows across military units. Thailand’s Nineth Trade Policy Review Held Under Kazakhstan’s Chairmanship at the WTO 03.12.2025
Geneva, 1 December 2025 – On 1 and 3 December, the Trade Policy Review of Thailand is being held at the headquarters of the World Trade Organization under the chairmanship of H.E. Ambassador Kairat Torebayev, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the WTO and Chair of the Trade Policy Review Body.The delegation of Thailand is led by H.E. Ms. Kirida Bhaopichitr, Vice Minister for Commerce. During the meeting, Thailand presented comprehensive information on the implementation of its national development strategy aimed at achieving high-income status by 2037, fostering innovation, and strengthening the country’s position in global value chains. Particular attention was given to measures on modernizing customs administration, the full implementation of Thailand’s obligations under the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement, digital transformation, and the promotion of high-technology industries, including the development of electric vehicles, electronics, and green energy.WTO Members commended Thailand’s commitment to the multilateral trading system and its active role in the WTO reform process, including participation in ongoing Joint Statement Initiatives on e-commerce, services domestic regulation, and investment facilitation. Szemenye (Hungary), 28 November 2025 - an official ceremony was held to inaugurate the Memorial symbolizing cooperation between the Turkic States and Hungary in the field of the protection of fundamental rights. The event was organized by Judge of the Constitutional Court of Hungary and former Commissioner for Fundamental Rights, Dr. Ákos Kozma.The ceremony was attended by the Ambassadors of the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy of Hungary Zsolt Németh, as well as representatives of Szombathely Forestry Ltd.Background: The monument consists of a four-meter oak column decorated with traditional Turkic motifs. The upper part of the composition is crowned with a polished copper element resembling scaled tiles, symbolizing gold as the color of the sun, authority, power, and divinity. Two connecting elements represent the image of a water source - the origin of life and the life-giving force of the earth.Symbolic trees were planted around the memorial, each representing a participating country: Turkey - pedunculate oak; Azerbaijan - pomegranate tree; Turkmenistan - Greek juniper; Uzbekistan - Oriental plane; Kyrgyzstan - black mulberry; Kazakhstan - Oriental spruce; Hungary - Hungarian oak. In his opening remarks, Dr. Ákos Kozma emphasized the symbolic importance of the Memorial and the continuity of initiatives launched in 2023 during the meeting of the Turkic ombudsmen in Hungary. He noted that the newly unveiled site would serve as a space for dialogue, friendship, and the strengthening of shared values.Speeches were also delivered by the Ambassadors of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, and by a representative of the OTS Office in Hungary.The Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Hungary, H.E. Bern, December 2, 2025 – As part of his official visit to Switzerland, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev held meetings with the management of EuroAirport, the senior management of the global container shipping operator Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), the investment and technology group Kanadevia Inova, and industrial investor Roland Bartholet.The main objective of the meetings was to discuss specific investment projects and the prospects for Swiss company’s participation in the development and modernization of Kazakhstan’s infrastructure and agro-industrial complex.Tobias Markert, CEO of EuroAirport, one of Europe’s key transport hubs, expressed readiness to develop new cargo and transit air routes between Asia and Europe involving Kazakhstan’s aviation infrastructure, as well as interest in cooperation in airport management.At the meeting with Eduard Sigrist, Senior Vice President of MSC, a substantive discussion was held on the prospects for the development of Kazakhstan’s port and logistics infrastructure and further integration of the country into the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route. Construction of another major greenhouse complex has officially begun in Shymkent. Today, Shymkent Mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov, along with the management of the Polish company Fabe-Agro, participated in a capsule-laying ceremony marking the launch of the $137 million project. The project is being implemented in the Martobe residential area. The total area of the greenhouse complex will be 144 hectares. Work has currently begun on installing the necessary infrastructure and preparing the construction site. Once operational, the facility will produce up to 36,000 tons of vegetables annually and create approximately 1,000 new jobs. During the ceremony, City Mayor Gabit Syzdykbekov noted that this project will be an important step in the development of Shymkent's agro-industrial complex. He stated that the new greenhouse complex will significantly improve the region's food security and provide the local market with high-quality and affordable produce. "Another economically significant project is beginning in Shymkent. As you know, the Turkish investors' greenhouse complex has already yielded its first harvest. These two major projects will make a significant contribution to the city's agricultural development and give the industry a new impetus," noted G. Syzdykbekov. Experts are also confident that the new project will significantly enhance the region's agricultural potential. According to Talgat Mekambayev, head of the city's Department of Agriculture and Veterinary Services, investors plan to implement the project in stages between 2025 and 2028 and introduce tomatoes and cucumbers to the market.
