Члены жюри оценивали исполнительское мастерство участников, уровень заучивания и выразительность чтения.На мероприятие специально прибыла руководитель Управления по развитию языков Карагандинской области Алма Шалабаева, которая выразила духовную поддержку юным талантам и их педагогам.1 место – Асылболаткызы Акбота (150 000 тг), руководитель – Тусупбекова Жанар (Опорная школа имени Ә. Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan strengthen cooperation and partnership in the field of pension provision 03.12.2025
From November 25 to 28, 2025, an official meeting between delegations from the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund of the Republic of Kazakhstan (UAPF) and the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SSPF) was held in Baku as part of an experience exchange program. The program included presentations of the two countries' social protection and pension systems, and a discussion of digital services and administration mechanisms. The UAPF presented an overview of Kazakhstan's funded pension system, the demographic situation, the digitalization of pension services, and Kazakhstan's position in international pension ratings. The UAPF also provided information on the "National Fund for Children" project, a socially significant project for the country, in which the UAPF acts as the operator for recording target requirements, assets, savings, and implementing targeted savings payments. The Azerbaijani side was particularly interested in Kazakhstan's experience in digitalizing pension services, which allows citizens to access virtually all services remotely. UAPF's digital services provided the basis for exchanging experience on modern solutions, automation, and improving service levels for pension fund depositors in the two countries. The delegations also visited the SSPF's central branch for social benefits, as well as the Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security (DOST) and the DOST Inclusive Development Center, where they learned about Azerbaijan's innovative solutions for providing state social services and supporting various categories of citizens. Following the meeting, the parties also signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at strengthening cooperation and expanding professional collaboration in the field of pension provision across a wide range of areas, including the exchange of information on changes to pension legislation and ongoing reforms, the sharing of experiences in digital technologies in the pension system, and joint expert research. UAPF was founded on August 22, 2013 on the basis of GNPF APF JSC. The founder and shareholder of the UAPF is the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan represented by the State Institution Committee of State Property and Privatization of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Trust management of UAPF pension assets is carried out by the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan. In accordance with the pension legislation, the UAPF attracts compulsory pension contributions, employer’s compulsory pension contributions, compulsory occupational pension contributions, voluntary pension contributions, as well as carries out enrollment and accounting of voluntary pension contributions formed at the expense of the unclaimed amount of guaranteed compensation for the guaranteed deposit, transferred by the organization carrying out mandatory guarantee of deposits, in accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On mandatory guarantee of deposits placed in second-tier banks of the Republic of Kazakhstan", ensures the implementation of pension benefits. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, during negotiations with the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Korea on reducing illegal migration and protecting the rights of our citizens, reached an agreement to expand the time frame of the voluntary departure program (hereinafter referred to as the Program), which allows Kazakhstanis who worked illegally in Korea to voluntarily leave the country without fines and a ban on re–entry. Our compatriots can take advantage of this opportunity in the period from December 2025 to February 2026 inclusive.These measures are aimed at mitigating the legal consequences and supporting those who are willing to settle their status. The program does not apply to persons who have committed criminal offenses subject to forced expulsion, as well as to foreigners who find themselves in illegal status after December 1, 2025.To participate in the Program, you need a passport, an application for voluntary departure and an air ticket. The advance notification is submitted through the immigration offices of the Republic of Korea from 15 to 3 days before the departure date.The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter – MLSPP) strongly recommends that citizens of Kazakhstan get a job abroad only legally in order to avoid the risks of illegal migration, expulsion, fines, restrictions on rights, as well as possible situations of labor exploitation.. Jakarta, December 3, 2025 – The Embassy of Kazakhstan in Indonesia, in partnership with the Association of the Indonesian Tours & Travel Agencies (ASITA), hosted a roundtable in Jakarta titled "Tourism Opportunities of Kazakhstan". The event aimed to expand bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector and attract more Indonesian travelers to Kazakhstan.The roundtable brought together representatives from over 40 Indonesian travel companies, international airlines, and business circles. The Ambassador of Kazakhstan, Serzhan Abdykarimov, made a detailed presentation of the country’s tourism potential, emphasizing its unique regional features and sightseeings.The Ambassador also underscored the 30-day visa-free regime currently available to Indonesian citizens and invited travel agencies to intensify joint efforts to significantly increase two-way tourist flows, strengthen business cooperation, and foster long-term people-to-people connections between the two friendly nations. Kazakhstan ranked 44th out of 217 countries in the World Bank’s Statistical Performance Indicators (SPI), improving its result by 21 positions compared to the previous year (65th position in 2023), Qazinform News Agency learned from the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms.The World Bank publishes the Statistical Performance Indicators (SPI) ranking on an annual basis, which is based on officially recognized international sources. It provides up-to-date and accurate data on global development, including national, regional and global assessments.The SPI reflect the capabilities of a country’s national statistical system, according to criteria, such as data use, services provided, statistical products, data sources, and data infrastructure. The scale ranges from 0 to 100 where 100 represents a high level.According to the last year’s data, Kazakhstan’s national statistical system scored 84.9 out of 100. Brussels, December 1, 2025 – The 22nd meeting of the Kazakhstan – European Union Cooperation Council was held in Brussels under the chairmanship of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbayev and the EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.The event carried special significance as it took place on the eve of the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Enhanced Partnership and Cooperation Agreement (EPCA) between Kazakhstan and the European Union and its member states.The parties reviewed the results of a decade of strategic partnership between Astana and Brussels and exchanged views on its future development.It was reaffirmed that economic relations continue to be the key engine of cooperation. The European Union remains Kazakhstan’s largest trading and investment partner. In 2024, bilateral trade reached nearly 50 billion US dollars, while the total inflow of European investment amounted to 200 billion US dollars. More than 4,000 companies with European participation operate in the country. The Kazakh side expressed its readiness to further diversify trade, emphasizing the importance of expanding access for domestic agricultural products to the EU market.Significant attention was devoted to the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (the Middle Corridor). Given the transformation of global supply chains, the parties reaffirmed the strategic importance of this route as a reliable and sustainable link between Europe and Asia. Kazakhstan declared its willingness to deepen cooperation with the EU and regional partners to further advance this corridor.A separate discussion was held on cooperation in the fields of green and digital transformation. Investments of Over USD 100 Million Expected in Kazakhstan from Türkiye’s Trakya Region 03.12.2025
During his working visit to the provinces of Edirne, Kırklareli, Çanakkale, and Tekirdağ on 20–21 and 27–28 November 2025, the Consul General of Kazakhstan in Istanbul, Nuriddin Amankul, held bilateral meetings with the heads of 12 major companies in the region to discuss investment opportunities in the priority sectors of Kazakhstan’s economy.Turkish companies expressed significant interest in the country’s investment potential and demonstrated their intention to develop new projects in areas such as vegetable oil production, fish products, cosmetics, construction materials, and dairy production.During meetings with the governors of the mentioned provinces, the Consul General emphasized Kazakhstan’s interest in further strengthening cooperation with the Thrace region in both investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.As part of the visit, meetings were also held with the heads of the police and migration departments of Edirne, Kırklareli, Çanakkale, and Tekirdağ, during which an agreement was reached to jointly carry out awareness-raising activities on the legal rights and rules of stay in Türkiye for Kazakh citizens residing in the Trakya region.In addition, meetings were organized with the rectors of universities located in these provinces, as well as with Kazakh students studying at these institutions. Today, Shymkent took an important step toward ensuring price stability for medical services, reducing inflation, and increasing access to healthcare for city residents. The Akimat, together with leading medical and pharmaceutical organizations, signed a number of Memoranda aimed at stabilizing prices and curbing inflation. The main goal of the initiative is to reduce the cost of paid medical services, medicines, and medical devices, ensure pricing transparency, and increase the availability of medical care for the population. The following companies have joined the implementation of the agreements: Medical Center No. 14 LLC, Ai-Nury Medical Center LLC, KAMEYA Pharm Group LLC, Otau Med LLC, Atameken Medical Center LLC, ZERDE-PHARMA LLC, MURAT-PHARM LLC, and ZERDE Scientific and Production Association LLC. According to the city's First Deputy Akim, Aidyn Karimov, these steps are aimed at increasing the transparency of medical organizations and strengthening public trust. "The signing of the Memorandums directly contributes to increasing the availability of medical services and medications for city residents. The agreements reached are an important part of the overall effort to reduce inflationary pressure," noted Aydin Karimov. It should be emphasized that the mutual obligations of the parties will not only help maintain price discipline and quality of services, but also develop fair competition among medical organizations, ensuring the protection of citizens' interests. The city's first deputy akim also emphasized that the annual inflation rate in Shymkent in November 2025 was 11.8%, which is lower than the national average of 12.4%. Among the regions, the metropolis ranks 17th and is considered one of the regions with relatively low inflation. "Monthly inflation compared to October was 0.1%, confirming the stabilization of prices for food, non-food products, and paid services. The city administration will continue to work in this direction, paying particular attention to transparency and price discipline in such important areas for society," said A. Karimov.
