As part of the agreement, 16,337,281 US dollars (equivalent to – 7 681 299 403 tenge). However, the goods did not arrive in the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the foreign currency funds were not returned within the time limits established by law.The audit showed that financial transactions were conducted by the accountant of the organization without proper control from the management.In accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, responsibility for compliance with currency regulations is assigned directly to a legal entity, regardless of which employee carried out the transactions.Based on the results of the review of the case materials, the company was brought to administrative responsibility.  About 150 convicts are currently serving their sentences in the minimum security facility of the penal enforcement system in the Abai region. Of these, more than 130 people are employed both on the territory of the institution and outside it.           The convicts are involved in enterprises of various forms of ownership, including a republican state-owned enterprise, four limited liability partnerships and two individual businesses. A significant part of those employed work in Semey Tazalyk LLP and Zelenstroy, taking part in the improvement and sanitary cleaning of the city.             Employment is an important element of the process of re-socialization. It helps convicts develop discipline, responsibility, and professional skills necessary for successful adaptation to society after release.             - Ensuring the employment of convicts remains one of the priority areas of work. We strive to involve convicts in their work activities as much as possible. This not only allows them to acquire useful skills and experience, but also contributes to the formation of law-abiding behavior.             A 53-year-old resident of Pavlodar, convicted of causing bodily harm to her roommate, was sentenced to three years in prison.           While serving her sentence in a women's colony, the convict was characterized on the positive side: she underwent treatment for alcohol addiction, compensated the victim and embarked on the path of correction. In this regard, after submitting a petition for commutation of punishment, the staff of the institution collected all the necessary materials. By a court decision, the custodial sentence was commuted to restriction of liberty for an unserved term of one year and ten months.             To continue serving her sentence, the convict was registered with the probation service of the city of Pavlodar. Upon registration, she was given a detailed explanation of the conditions of serving her sentence, as well as warned about responsibility for evading control and the possibility of commuting the punishment to a more severe one.             Despite this, the woman systematically violated the established procedure for serving her sentence and evaded the supervision of the probation service. As a result, the court's decision replaced the restriction of freedom with imprisonment for an unserved term of one year and five months.            Currently, the convict has arrived again to continue serving her sentence at an institution of the penal enforcement system in the Abai region.            "I ruined my own life. When I was given a chance to improve, I couldn't take it. I went back to my old way of life and made mistakes again. The hardest part is realizing that I have let down my minor son, for whom I have limited parental rights. I'm not with him, I can't support him, I can't be a mother to him. Every day I think about how things could have turned out differently. Now I understand that I had a chance to start a new life back then, but I missed it. Now all I have to do is draw conclusions and try never to return to the past," the convict shared.                — This case clearly demonstrates that commuting a sentence to a more lenient one is primarily a chance for a convict to change his life. However, in the absence of proper conclusions and compliance with the established requirements, the law provides for a return to a more severe penalty.            In the medium-security institution of the penal system in the Abai region, convicts employed in a production workshop for the manufacture of metal structures and applied art products have begun manufacturing pavilions designed to accommodate cafes and kiosks selling food.            Production is carried out according to individual orders. The pavilions are made of durable metal frames using modern sandwich panels, which ensures their reliability, durability and compliance with operational requirements.            The average production time for one pavilion is from two to three weeks.          In the Abai region, employees of the maximum security institution of the penal correction system held a teleconference with high school students from one of the secondary schools in the city of Semey in order to promote the ideology of ”Law and Order” and prevent crime among young people.         The main purpose of the event was the prevention of offenses among teenagers, the formation of respect for the law, as well as a visual demonstration of the consequences of illegal actions. During the meeting, the convict, who is serving a sentence for the illegal sale of narcotic drugs, told the students about his life in an online format. He openly shared that at first he perceived what was happening as temporary difficulties, but dependence and the desire for ”easy money” led to devastating consequences — loss of freedom, severance of family ties and social isolation.         The students were particularly impressed by the personal story of a 35-year-old convict sentenced to 22 years in prison for the illegal sale of narcotic drugs.          — Carrying out such events is an important part of preventive work. Live communication with convicts makes a much stronger impression on young people than a dry theory. The Karaganda region is strengthening ties with Slovakia. В 2026 году Казахстан получил отдельную национальную сессию в рамках этой инициативы наряду с Великобританией, Испанией, Кенией и Таиландом.Открывая мероприятие, Серик Жумангарин поблагодарил китайскую сторону за организацию специальной сессии, отметив, что она является важным практическим шагом по реализации договоренностей глав двух государств о дальнейшем наращивании взаимной торговли и наглядно отражает высокий уровень казахстанско-китайского стратегического партнерства между Казахстаном и Китаем.Вице-премьер подчеркнул особую значимость инициативы Министерства коммерции КНР «Экспорт в Китай», которая открывает дополнительные возможности для казахстанских производителей, обеспечивая прямые контакты с китайскими импортерами, торговыми сетями, ведущими маркетплейсами и логистическими операторами.Правительство Казахстана продолжает системную работу по созданию благоприятных условий для торговли и инвестиций: модернизирует транспортно-логистическую инфраструктуру, развивает приграничные центры сотрудничества и последовательно увеличивает пропускную способность международных транспортных коридоров.В ходе сессии также выступил аким области Абай Берик Уали, который отметил стратегическое значение региона в развитии сотрудничества с Китаем.В рамках визита Серик Жумангарин также ознакомился с деятельностью представительства АО «Центр развития торговой политики «QazTrade» в Урумчи, которое оказывает комплексную поддержку казахстанским компаниям при выходе на китайский рынок.Одним из практических результатов стали договоренности с одной из крупнейших торговых сетей СУАР «8:30», объединяющей более тысячи магазинов. Достигнута предварительная договоренность о тестовом размещении продукции казахстанских брендов Sun Planet, Delis и Run Planet в 200–300 торговых точках сети.При содействии представительства также подписаны соглашения о продвижении на китайском рынке продукции компаний «Алан и Компания» и Baysan Group. Кроме того, обеспечено сопровождение первой пилотной поставки казахстанских товаров в Китай объемом 20 тонн.
