34 dilapidated houses were demolished in the Zhetysu district of Almaty as part of the housing renovation program 15.11.2024
The renovation of the housing stock continues in Almaty as part of the Housing Renovation Program. Thus, 135 houses in the Zhetysu district of Almaty are included in the new Renovation Program until 2030.As of today, 34 dilapidated houses with 304 apartments have been demolished in the area. Next year, it is planned to relocate the owners of 280 apartments from 30 houses. So, in the square of Krylov, Scriabin, Goncharov Streets and Rayymbek Avenue, the investor is building 11 houses for 944 apartments instead of 16 dilapidated houses.Residents of demolished houses have been relocated to new housing. As of today, 9 houses have been completely completed, and 2 more are planned to be commissioned by the end of this year.In addition, in the square of Botkin, Kazakov, Goncharov, Scriabin Streets and Rayymbek Avenue, another company is building 11 houses with 576 apartments instead of dilapidated 6 houses with 48 apartments. As of today, 3 houses of the 1st stage have been put into operation, in which residents of demolished houses have been relocated. Another 8 houses are under construction.According to one of the residents of the house, in the above-mentioned square, thanks to this program, their family moved to a new modern residential complex instead of an apartment in an old earthquake-prone house."We have received an apartment of equal size already renovated. During the construction of the house, we were provided with temporary housing on a free basis. Such programs are, of course, important, because not everyone will be able to buy an apartment in a new residential complex, especially since it is difficult to sell real estate in an old house," Farida Ishmemetova noted. It should be noted that in order to accelerate the pace of resettlement of residents of dilapidated houses to comfortable apartments, the Akimat of Almaty has developed a draft Renovation Program until 2030.The program involves the demolition of dilapidated houses with expired service life that are not earthquake-resistant and pose a threat to people's lives. Modern residential complexes will be built in their place.Source : https://www.gov.kz/memleket/entities/almaty/press/news/details/884364
